About a week ago we went to a farmers' market in our area. Some went to look at the vegetables, others to look at the art. Isaac only had eyes for one thing, the dogs. There was one dog he was particularly interested in. Her name was Ruby.

He spotted her as we approached.

He continued to point and wiggle as we passed.

So, we were invited by her gracious owners to say hello.

Isaac was a bit hesitant at first. But he finally reached in and gave her a pet.

After his brave move he came in for a hug from mom.

And then he was off in search of the next dog.

trains and coffee and ice cream

A couple weeks ago we met up with some friends at a child-friendly coffee shop. It's a great place with a train for the children. Isaac wanted to explore and I went along with him.
