fellas, take note

Today is our anniversary. This morning after I said, "Happy Anniversary!" - my husband recited our wedding vows from memory. (Granted, he confessed to preparing a bit in the last week or so.) Wow. I was definitely moved and reminded of why it had to be him.

I'm still learning about zippers. This person will help me until I can zip by myself.

I like everything, from the colors to the doggie buttons.

I think I'll look pretty great when school pictures roll around.

We had a great time with our friends in DC.
But there was one day when Isaac wouldn't nap. What follows are pictures of the cutest tantrum ever.


He fell asleep shortly after these were taken. And with a little sleep under his belt, he was ready to head west for cousin time...

Summer of Love

We headed to DC on the train and this is where a lot of the summer lovin' began. People like us wherever we go, but family really show us the love. While in DC we were able to meet up with some old friends.


Isaac enjoyed putting on a show more than he enjoyed the Indian food.

He insisted on touring around the restaurant in Dad's hat.

The fam. The next day Carl headed to NC to visit some buddies. Isaac and I stayed in DC.

We visited Aunt Randi at her office.

Isaac got to do what he loves best, type and make friends.
