We traveled up north to spend a little time with family and to retrieve Sadie.

There she is below, fishing with Isaac and Grandpa Bob.

This was Isaac's first time fishing. I think he liked it.

Aunt Randi got some time in with the boys.

Boating was the best, according to Isaac.

Having missed his birthday parties to date, the family decided to throw him a little 'Almost Three and a Half' party. If you know Isaac, you know he loves a birthday no matter what time of year it is.

Theo had his two month check up today and he's doing great. He's nearly doubled his birth weight and weighs about 14 pounds. He's grown about 3 inches which puts him at 23 inches.
Isaac put him through the ropes prior to the real doctor's visit. He was a very kind and gentle doctor, even when administering the shots. I thought it would be months before the boys could play together, but Theo is the perfect patient for Dr. Isaac.

Banner Family Resort

After Chicago, we headed down to Indy for a stay at the Banner Family Resort. We love our time at J and J's. Here are a few of the things we look forward to.

There's a pool.

There are cute cousins.

There's a pool.

There's the occasional (and much needed) family nap time.

There are more cute cousins.

There's time with aunts and grandparents.

There's lots of grilling.

There's a pool.

And when it's time to get out of your swimming suit, there's always the trampoline!

We Had the Best Time at Your Party

Our travels kicked off with Carolyn and Fernando's reception. It was lovely.

There were cousin reunions.

There was dancing.

There were boys wearing bows. Isaac decided to rearrange the place settings. He pulled his chair over and squashed himself between Aunt Jenny and his girl cousins. It was way better than sitting with mom and dad.

There were sleepy boys.

There were sleepy, happy parents.

Loved it.

Traveling to Chicago

Flying to Chicago, instead of driving, was a great choice. We had a very smooth experience with our two little guys. Isaac is a big help at the airport. He rolls his own luggage and is a very happy and curious traveler.

Theo was also a happy traveler.

Soon, he'll be rolling his own bag too.
