Back to Work

After four weeks together, Carl went back to work on Monday. Isaac and I are in the process of figuring out our days without him. We're working on baby wearing and have enjoyed some walks in the beautiful spring weather. Each day seems to be a little easier, especially the days when Isaac has slept for more than two hours at a time the night before...

Then Carl came home.


And after awhile, Isaac convinced him to join him in the day's main event.


Each day that passes is a bit of a relief, just like each ounce he gains. Today is Isaac's one month 'birthday'. It's hard to believe that a month ago we were in the hospital meeting our little guy for the first time. We're so glad he's with us. Happy birthday Isaac!
