2 months

Isaac turned two months old today and what a day it was. We had a sodium check and an appointment with Dr. John. Isaac is down to two doses of sodium a day and his level is normal. He'll go down to one dose a day in the next couple of weeks and it looks like we'll be able to wean him off the sodium supplement before summer is over.
His weight, as you can tell from the pictures, is great. He is now 10 pounds 9 ounces and growing every second. Dr. John continues to be our favorite doc. He is positive, honest, and he never compares Isaac to other children. He doesn't tell us what percentile Isaac falls in for weight or height; he just gives us the numbers and lets us know that he's doing well. He was also okay with our decision to delay Isaac's vaccinations for at least a couple of months. It's so great to work with a doctor who cares about our son, openly discusses our options, and respects our decisions.
Isaac also had a little fun on his 'birthday'. I must have sang his favorite song at least fifty times, he napped in my arms, went for a walk in the sling, and was pushed around and around in the stroller by his dad. Life is full of simple pleasures when you're two months old.

Happy Two Months, Isaac! (And happy nine months, Carl and Terri!) I'm so glad you have a great doc for your little man!
